Love it! During school holidays, my family went camping in a canvas tent. Before stowing away the gear, my father used to write the name of the campsite on the inside wall. It was quite a list and when that tent was wrecked by a freak storm, he cut the list out and kept it. Don’t know if it still exists but it certainly held memories.
That’s brilliant. You should have something with all of your night-stops written on it. No idea what as it would be huge by now. We used to write every place we’d been on our suitcases. Looked pretty interesting.
There is a restaurant in my one-time village in France whose name translates as the direct form of “I don’t know where”. I needed a French friend to tell me
I admire the young families who go on “the lap” homeschooling their kids. I know the kids learn so much more than they do in a classroom simply by being out there.

I wonder how many Australians could say they’ve been to all those places.
