Before we leave Coraki I’d like to take you on a short walk around the town. A walk to appreciate the variety of buildings that tell of the history and the climate of this pleasant place.

Looks like a paint shop might do good business in the town. Maybe after the lockdowns end more retired people might start moving away from the cities to little towns like this.

Ha, settle petal. I’ve been trying to sketch that post office verandah for many nights now and I’m scratching my head as to how to do all those peeling pickets. And before you ask, I won’t be posting the results anytime soon. It’s doing my head in!

Ha, You’ve exposed my passion for rust and peeling paint on old buildings. Yes I agree, if there is a silver lining to this pandemic then it certainly could be a move of people away from choked cities.

Really like the look of Coraki, such character in those old buildings. Hotel looks like a great business opportunity.
