The Railway Hotel, yes another one, in the main street of Dunolly is thankfully back in business after having been closed for a year or so. They’re advertising $1 pots until the first goal is kicked in tomorrow’s AFL Grand Final. That should bring the locals in.
Back at our friend’s farm we draw the blinds and watch the Western Bulldogs beat the Sydney Swans for their second only Premiership. The first goal isn’t kicked until 12 minutes into the First Quarter and that’s a long while in fast paced Aussie Rules. I wonder how the new publican at The Railway is feeling?

In Vic & Qld it’s a 10oz or 285ml glass. The names and sizes vary in each state. I just say “get me the smallest”.

You can rest easy in your two jumpers as we’re now being lashed with rain from the tail of a cyclone up off Indonesia. A very looong tail is all I can say.

Ohhh sorry, no matter how bad we have it there’s always someone who has it worse😕 Raining here too and very dark but at least the icy wind has dropped. Hope things improve for you soon 😊
