As we wandered about Yackandandah, we were curious as to why there were yellow yaks on houses. These yaks denote households working toward the community goal of total renewable energy. TRY or Totally Renewable Yackandandah was formed in 2014 with the goal of powering the community with 100%renewable energy by 2022.
