Day 7 Friday 28/11/2025 Yarram, sunny (at last), breezy 8 – 22

Everyone heads for home. We stay on for one more night with Double or Nuthin’ and Shirley Temple. We have a quiet lazy day enjoying the sun. Woody packs up as much as he can while I sit in the Botanical Gardens and sketch a little stone bridge that crosses the water course. It’s peaceful, there are a few ladies reading and a young mum teaching her little boy to fish. He’s too young to realise that there are no fish here.

We have dinner in the other camp kitchen, the enclosed one and cook crumbed lamb cutlets from the local butcher. I’m guessing that Woody must have snuck over to the butcher while I was sketching.
