We keep it a little simpler than most folks in the northern hemisphere. Summer Dec – Feb, Autumn Mar – May, Winter June – Aug, Spring Sep – Nov. But it’s not really appropriate as the top third of the country is tropical and should be Wet Season, Dry Season. Our native people the Aborigines had six or more seasons for the south and I believe they were more accurate as our seasons change more gently than in your hemisphere. Enjoy your day Lyn or as we say here ‘av a good one.
When does autumn begin and end?

Actually if I can amend it a little…the tropics could best be described as the sweaty season and non sweaty season.
