Day 11 Tuesday 24/6/2025, Murwillumbah, 13 – 23
We drive across the border into Queensland with the aim of visiting family, but it’s also a chance to do a bit of Aldi shopping. In need of seeing the sea we eat sushi overlooking the picture- perfect Burleigh beach.
We spend the afternoon with Woody’s brother Woody the Elder and his wife the Very Good Golfer while a speckled brush turkey darts about the garden like a chook with its head cut off.
On our return journey the traffic is bumper to bumper on the M1, but that seems to be normal as the Gold Coast stretch is always in the throes of an upgrade when we visit.
To save time tomorrow, we hitch up the van in readiness for the trip to the mechanic for those pesky tank repairs.
Accom: $35.00

Good luck with the tank repairs. Take in some of those sea vistas for me too please. I kinda miss them!

Believe it or not, it’s off to a 3rd mechanic today. Those tanks are higher maintenance than a Kardashian.

I’ve seen a chook running around with its head cut off. Scarred me for life. Enjoy the sun.
