Day 41 Tuesday 6/7/21 Tannum Sands, 23
It’s a little cooler this morning but there is warm sun streaming in the windows. When it’s fine here it is heavenly. I can see why my friend who used to live here speaks so highly of her time raising a kids on Boyne Island. The beach and parklands are well used by locals and visitors alike and perched on one of the many hills the views from the Tannum Sands pub are beaut.
The prawn lunch is excellent but crumbed cutlets from a local butcher disappoint. It’s time to hunt out a good butcher I’d say.

I’d put up with the crumbed cutlets to be in a place like that!

Kiwi lamb might have been better, I think our cutlets were mutton dressed up as ram.
